PROJECT: DimSum Breather
What it is: Part of an ecosystem of three ambient connected devices addressing common pain points in the dimsum restaurant experience. This device, the DimSum Breather, in particular addresses the disconnect between the back of the house and the customer by allowing patrons to show appreciation to the cooks through a steam-based display.
My key roles: Kitchen researcher, pump design, housing and physical component construction.
